A young lady has gone viral after her lips got badly swollen from using a Kayamata attraction lip gloss she bought online.
In a video shared by @Teniola on X, she was seen crying in pain with visibly swollen lips, saying, “Look at my lips oo, it’s this thing I bought oo. See my lips oo. Kayamata lip gloss! What do I do?”
She reportedly bought the gloss believing it would make her more attractive, but shortly after applying it, her lips began to swell uncontrollably.
The video sparked mixed reactions online — while some sympathized and advised her to seek medical help, others mocked the craze for unverified charm-based beauty products.
In other news….. BBNaija star and former winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has responded to critics who dragged her for partying weeks after her sister’s burial, saying grief has no manual.
Phyna, who lost her sister Ruth Otabor in August and buried her in September, came under fire after a video showed her clubbing with actress Regina Daniels.
While Regina earlier defended her, saying people should stop judging others for how they choose to heal, Phyna has now spoken up on X, writing: “Grief has no manual, and it doesn’t look the same on everyone. Stop telling people how to mourn.”
She wrote:
“Grief has no manual, no fixed face, and no timetable. The fact that I choose to keep living, smiling, or sharing moments does not erase the pain I carry. Respect the process, even if you do not understand it. If you cannot extend compassion, then at least extend silence.”
While many fans rallied around Phyna, praising her strength and honesty, some still criticized her for clubbing just weeks after her sister’s burial, insisting it was “too soon.”
