“Womanizing Is the Biggest Problem for Artists” – Ubi Franklin

Popular Nigerian talent manager, Ubi Franklin, has shared insights into one of the biggest challenges artists face after achieving fame.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Culture Sonic Podcast, Franklin stated that promiscuity becomes a major issue for both male and female artists once they hit stardom.

He explained that upcoming artists are generally easier to manage because they are still focused and hungry for success. However, things change once they become popular and start enjoying the perks of fame.

“The only artist that can be controlled is the one that has not had a hit. Once they have a hit, the first biggest problem for artists is womanizing. For female singers, it’s promiscuity as well,” he claimed.

His comments have stirred reactions online, with some agreeing that the entertainment industry comes with distractions that often affect artists’ focus and discipline.

In other news, Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tuoyo Ideh, has opened up about the stigma attached to being openly affectionate in today’s dating culture.

Sharing his thoughts via Instagram Stories, Tuoyo expressed disappointment over how society now views emotional expression. He wrote:

“This generation has made being called a lover boy or lover girl look like a sin or a bad thing.”

His comment has sparked conversations online, with many users agreeing that genuine emotional vulnerability is often ridiculed in modern relationships. Some social media users noted that expressing love or affection is now seen as being “too soft” or “desperate.”

Tuoyo’s post highlights a growing concern about how the current dating landscape discourages sincerity and openness in favor of emotional detachment.
