A Nigerian woman has opted to utilize her tithe, which was intended to be donated to the church, to feed the less fortunate, the destitute, and widows in her congregation.
The compassionate woman told that she donates meals to church members every month.
She explained that she normally utilizes the tithe from her catering business to feed the less fortunate, and the frequency of this kindness varies according on her monthly resources.
The woman used a Bible passage to support her motives for doing this:
“Deuteronomy14:28-29. “At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates. And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.”
