A 21-year-old woman lost her life, and her 27-year-old boyfriend is critically injured after they both fell from the second floor of a bar in Puerto Inca, Peru.

The accident took place around 6 a.m. on Monday, August 4, following a dispute between the couple.

The woman, identified as Emely Fiorela Mego Díaz, reportedly tried to embrace her boyfriend during the confrontation.

Surveillance footage captured her approaching him aggressively, causing them both to fall from a section lacking protective railings.

According to local sources, Ms. Mego Díaz, who is believed to have worked at the bar, died instantly from the fall.

Her boyfriend, Henry Manuel del Águila Macedo, suffered multiple severe injuries and was initially treated at a local health center before being moved to a hospital.
