A woman identified as Folake Ade was reportedly found in a distressed state outside the Lagos Jet Ski Club in Ikoyi, prompting a call for help to locate her family or anyone who knows her.
The incident was shared on X by a user identified as Mr. Macks (@DAjimacks), who said he encountered the woman shortly after leaving the area.
According to his post, the woman appeared visibly distressed while moving around the street.
“Something shocking happened tonight around Ikoyi after leaving the Lagos Jet Ski Club. I saw a lady acting distressed and running/dancing on the street.”
He explained that he tried to communicate with her and checked her phone for clues about her identity.
“When I tried speaking with her, I checked her phone and saw an Instagram name Folakeade5. She said she just came back from Qatar.”
He added that he attempted to reach someone through her phone contacts and found that the last person she interacted with was a ride-hailing driver.
“I tried tracing someone through her phone and the last contact was an Uber driver who said he picked her up earlier from the Oriental Hotel Lagos, but there’s still no clue about her identity or family.”
The Oriental Hotel Lagos was reportedly the last known location where she had been picked up before the incident.
Mr. Macks urged the public to help identify the woman and reach her relatives.
“If anyone knows Folake Ade, please reach out. She’s currently around Ikoyi, Lagos. Please repost so this can reach someone who knows her.”
The post has since circulated online, with many social media users sharing it in an effort to help locate the woman’s family or close contacts.
