Popular comedian and skit maker Woli Arole has doubled down on his controversial comments regarding surrogacy, particularly among healthy women.

Recently, Arole stirred public reaction when he criticized the growing acceptance of surrogacy as a lifestyle choice rather than a medical necessity. In a new response to the backlash, he reiterated his stance, stating that promoting such practices could send dangerous signals to younger generations.

According to Arole, allowing women to choose surrogacy without medical reasons might inspire teenage girls to adopt similar beliefs, potentially leading to a future generation of women who no longer value the natural process of carrying a child.

He emphasized:

“Whatever thing we are doing naw is sending a signal to the younger generation, teenagers and young mind. Imagine your 17yrs old sister saying ‘When I am married too, I won’t use my womb to have child Oooo’. My body is my choice. All we do and say here is creating a MINDSET”.

The comedian, who often mixes humor with spiritual reflections, cautioned against normalizing such choices under the guise of personal freedom or modern ideology. He argued that while people claim bodily autonomy, the human body especially a woman’s body is a temple of God.

Arole further criticized those defending the practice, saying:
