Sola Ogudugu, the first babymama of Nigerian music star Wizkid, has addressed a fan who repeatedly refers to her as the singer’s wife.
The fan left a comment on one of her Instagram posts, calling her “Iyawo Ibrahim” (Wife of Ibrahim, Wizkid’s real name), and added, “Every day is a holiday!”
In response, Sola expressed her displeasure, urging the fan to stop leaving such comments, which she described as delusional and harmful to her prospects of ever becoming someone’s wife.
She clarified that she typically avoids responding to comments true or false but felt compelled to speak out due to the persistence and negative impact of this particular narrative.
“I’m not one to address anything, whether true or false. But this type of comment on every single one of my posts is actually very detrimental to me actually being “Iyawo Somebody”, one day.
Constantly commenting shit like this is not a good look. I actually really and truly dislike it. Let this be the last of this delusional type of comment, please. Thanks and God bless you”.
Her post has since sparked discussions online, with many applauding her for setting the record straight.
