Warri Pikin, a Nigerian comedienne, has revealed why she prayed to God years ago not to give her a female kid.
Anita Asuoha, better known by her stage as Warri Pikin, told how she begged God not to give her a girl child on International Day of the Girl Child.
The comedian, who underwent weight-loss surgery, revealed on her Instagram page that she feared parenting a girl child would be too difficult and complicated.
Her childhood experiences, she claims, had a negative impact on her, leading to her decision not to have children.
Nonetheless, God rewarded her with two daughters, and she couldn’t be happier with her achievements thus far.
She prayed that He continues to give her the grace to mother them.
She wrote:
“Happy International Day of the Girl Child to my Daughters And to Every Girl child out there.
