Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, also known by her previous stage name Cynthia Morgan and now Madrina, has issued a message to her colleague Davido following his loss at the 2024 Grammys.
The Nigerian-American singer and composer received nominations for Global Music Album – Timeless, Global Music Performance – Feel, and Best African Music Performance – Unavailable.
It is no longer news that the first-time Grammy nominee lost all three categories at the just concluded 66th Record Academy Awards, which were hosted at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles.
Cynthia Morgan responded on Instagram, saying that while she isn’t a fan of Davido, she believes he should have gotten an award. She stated that this would have allowed peace to reign in the country.
Cynthia Morgan however wished him better luck next time. On her Instagram story moments ago, she wrote:
“Not a fan of you but I feel say them for just give you one make we for get peace for this country.
Better luck next time my former fave @davido.”
