Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck once again proved his reputation as one of the most outspoken and unpredictable personalities online after making a bold promise during the Super Eagles’ tense semi-final encounter with Morocco at the 2026 AFCON.
As the high-stakes match unfolded and nerves ran high nationwide, the rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to air his frustration. In a post that quickly gained attention, he vowed never to collaborate with any Ghanaian artiste if Nigeria ended up losing the game.
His reaction followed widespread criticism of the officiating, which was led by Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea. Many Nigerian fans accused the referee of making decisions that favoured Morocco at crucial moments, a view Odumodublvck appeared to share.
According to the rapper, the encounter went beyond football, reflecting the long-standing rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana that often spills into sports and entertainment.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that singer Davido also reacted to Nigeria’s loss after reportedly losing a huge bet. Before kickoff, Davido had announced online that he staked $50,000 on the Super Eagles to qualify for the final, a wager that eventually collapsed following the defeat.
Despite the loss, the award-winning artiste later shared a photo of himself enjoying a plate of grilled fish, appearing relaxed and unfazed by the outcome of the match or the financial setback.
