Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has taken a walk down memory lane as she reflected on her acting journey alongside fellow screen star, Genevieve Nnaji.
In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), Dominic shared how they both started out in Nollywood as young, passionate girls with nothing but dreams and determination. She admitted they had no idea how far the journey would take them or how much the Nigerian film industry would grow to make a global impact.
“When we started in Nollywood all those years ago, we were just passionate girls with a dream. We had no idea the incredible journey ahead or how our industry would grow to touch the entire world. To look around today and see how far we’ve come… It fills my heart with pride. No matter what, we did not walk alone,” she wrote, adding a red heart emoji.
Dominic and Nnaji remain iconic figures in Nollywood, admired not just for their talent and beauty, but also for their role in shaping the path for the new generation of actors.
