Many Nigerians have given up hope of a blooming friendship between Afrobeats celebrities after Davido stated that he no longer talks to Wizkid or Burna Boy.
The singer revealed this in a recent interview with Shade 45, when he provided an update on his friendship with them.
Davido is now in New York City, performing at the BET Experience with Cardi B and other well-known performers.
In an interview while touring the city, he was asked if he speaks with Burna Boy and Wizkid, the trio best known for placing Nigeria on the map with their songs.
Davido admitted that they no longer have a relationship, and despite having each other’s phone numbers, they do not communicate.
He claimed that they all grew up in different parts of Nigeria and were happy with their current relationship since it would always be love between them.
Recall that, despite reports of an online feud between him and Burna Boy, Davido recently rocked the internet by rekindling his lost friendship with Wizkid.
However, it appears that the spark of brotherhood has once again flickered.
