- Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has raised concerns over what he describes as a growing shortage of “quality men,” warning that the imbalance could leave many women without suitable partners.
- In a post on X, he argued that the gap between the quality of men and women is widening, claiming many men are no longer equipped to lead or sustain marriages in today’s society.

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express concern over a perceived “crisis” involving the lack of quality men, warning it could mean many women might not find eligible men to marry.
The Pastor lamented the increasing disparity, suggesting the gap between “quality women” and “quality men” is widening.
He wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen we have a crisis! I’m very concerned about the quality of men out there these days… I stand to be corrected but it seems the gap between men and women in terms of quality is widening, it’s getting harder to find solid men,”.
He argued that current-generation men are ill-equipped for modern relationships, stating, “Alot of men I see can’t lead or marry the women of this generation,”.

In other news…. A young woman has shared a frustrating dating experience that occurred when the bill arrived, sparking debate on modern relationships.
In a video shared by @Chinonso on X, she explained that she intentionally brought out her card to pay, partly to be polite and to gauge her date’s reaction. To her surprise and disappointment, the man made no effort to stop her or offer to pay; instead, he quietly watched.
Recounting the experience, she said: “I went on a date with this guy, so I intentionally brought out my card to pay. He did not even try to stop me. Like he was just watching. I had to ask myself, what are men turning into these days?”.
Her story quickly attracted reactions online. Some commentators criticized the man, with one writing, “These men are hopeless!”.
Another questioned, “Who raised these men?”.
