Nollywood star Bimpe Oyebade, widely recognised as Mo Bimpe, is celebrating a major career milestone after clinching three awards at the recently held Emperor Awards. The actress took to Instagram to express her joy, describing the honour as a deeply significant moment in her journey.
Her joint project with her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, titled Lisabi, secured the Digital Movie of the Year award. In addition, her hit film Iyawo Alhaji earned two accolades Best Actress in a Lead Role for Mo Bimpe and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Adeniyi Johnson.
Clearly overwhelmed with appreciation, the actress shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram page, thanking her supporters and reflecting on the achievement.
“We brought 3 awards home from the just-concluded Emperor Awards. Such a beautiful feeling to be recognised for your hard work! A huge thank you to Emperor Awards @emperorawards for this incredible honour.”
She continued, celebrating both movies:
“LISABI won Digital Movie of the Year, congratulations to us hubby @adedimejilateef. And our fav IYAWO ALHAJI movie got two awards, Nollywood Actress in a Lead Role for me and Nollywood Actor, in a Supporting Role for @adeniyijohnson in IYAWO ALHAJI, congratulations Ondo!”
Ending on a heartfelt note, she added:
