A new video has gone viral online after a lady shared her honest and unfiltered opinion about Iyabo Ojo’s latest cinema release, The Return of Arinzo.
In the clip, she expressed strong disappointment with the movie, saying she felt completely let down after watching it and believed she did not get value for her money or time.
She explained that she and her sister had looked forward to the outing, even getting dressed up and preparing for what they expected to be an enjoyable cinema experience. However, their excitement quickly faded after the film began.
According to her, she was so unimpressed that she rated the movie very poorly, saying she felt the story and overall execution did not meet her expectations.
She further recounted that although the movie started around 4 p.m., they left the cinema about an hour later because she found the plot uninteresting and the performance unsatisfactory.
She described the film as not being suitable for cinema standards and cautioned others to be careful before spending money to watch it.
The lady also said she was still very frustrated after the experience, noting that her disappointment kept her awake and pushed her to record the video later.
In contrast, she praised other Nollywood filmmakers such as Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, commending them for consistently delivering high-quality productions.
Despite her harsh criticism, she still acknowledged that effort went into the project, but felt it did not translate into a good viewing experience.
