Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, has urged Lagos residents to come with coolers to Eko Hotel and Suites to collect leftover food from her just-concluded record-breaking cook-a-thon.
Despite packaging and distribution, she said large quantities remained and didn’t want them wasted, sparking mixed reactions online.
In her words:
“There’s still food, please you guys come and get it. It’s a lot and I can’t waste it. The food is good, so come with your cooler. We still have so much left, even after all the packaging. The venue is Eko Hotels, and I won’t leave this place until everybody in Lagos has tasted this food.”
