Popular Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani has revealed that she is rarely approached by men from her home country for romantic relationships.
In a recent episode of The Box Pod, the former Chocolate City signee shared that most of the men who show interest in her while in Kenya are foreigners. According to her, Kenyan men either lack the confidence or assume she would reject them due to her celebrity status.
“I don’t get approached in Kenya. Nobody approaches me unless they are not from here,” she said. “It’s like a lack of confidence or they assume I’ll turn them down. They just don’t know how [to approach women]. It’s like they lack game.”
Kimani added that approaching women doesn’t require much beyond confidence, good hygiene, and effective communication. She emphasized that many men use the wrong language when trying to start conversations, which often leads to rejection.
Although she’s kept her romantic life largely private, Victoria Kimani has previously been rumored to have dated Nigerian rapper Ice Prince and Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz.
