- The actress, in an interview with BBC, expressed willingness to reconsider marriage if she finds the right man and stated that she wouldn’t marry if God forbids it.

Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has opened up about her views on remarriage and the evolving landscape of the Nigerian film industry.
In a recent interview with the BBC, the celebrated Yoruba actress shared that she is open to marrying again, but only if she finds the right partner and it aligns with God’s will.
“I’m not against remarrying,” she said. “If God brings the right man my way, I will give it a second chance. But if He says no, I won’t force it. I believe in letting God lead.”
Using metaphorical language, Bukky added, “If God has a man who goes to the age of six, I won’t wait until he is five and a half.”
“If God says he will go to the top of the mountain, he will not stop until he reaches the top of the mountain.”
It’s something I like, but only if God forbids it. I don’t tell women to try it, because I like it”.
The actress also addressed societal trends, particularly the rising tendency among women—actresses and non-actresses alike to expose their bodies. She noted that this is no longer exclusive to the film industry.
“Nowadays, it’s not just actresses exposing themselves women in general are doing it,” she said. “I often ask men if that’s what they want, and most say they prefer women who dress modestly.”
Speaking on Nollywood’s growth, Bukky highlighted some of the changes the industry has undergone, especially in terms of the tools and equipment used in production.
She concluded by teasing her fans about an upcoming project, encouraging them to stay tuned for something new from her soon.
