In other news,…… Nigerian singer and Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, has called on the police to re-arrest everyone involved in the death of late artiste Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba).
In a recent interview, Marley said he returned to Nigeria to assist with investigations and clear his name amid widespread allegations.
He revealed that, despite presenting evidence of his innocence, he was detained for two months at Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
She said …
“Ok, so I came back to Nigeria to support the police with the investigation because I can see fingers pointing out ways I can see that they’ve paid the block. So I want to come back so they can actually know that I have nothing to do with it and chase or whatever so you can get justice. So I came back to Nigeria. I was in quarantine for two months. Two months. After I even got out of PANTI, I was fighting for my passport there. I held my passport for how long? I showed them everything. There was no, like this is a working country. Okay, it’s okay, you can question me, but there’s no reason to detain me for two months. Two months? For what? No reason. I was not in the country. I haven’t seen him for over a year. There’s not even nothing to ask me. There’s nothing. I showed you everything. I was in PANTI for two months, but it’s okay. it’s nothing bro i understand you get i get it there’s people behind the scene as you can see the group chat got leaked um the officer that was in charge of the case in quantity mr hillary they mentioned his name to call him to call him they’re talking about george so so they did this is africa they did their homework to keep me there for two months i was in quantity for two months even people pointing fingers at me does not That don’t mean I should be in Kwan Tee for two months. You can see the evidence that I have nothing to do with it. Even the officers, they were saying I have nothing to do with it from early. They’re telling me this is for my own protection. My own protection to stay in Kwan Tee for two months. You know what Kwan Tee is? Some Kwan Tee I was in the cell. But anyway, it’s okay. I didn’t do a lot. If I wasn’t there for two months, a lot. I would have probably, you know, a lot. But they need to keep me there for two months. But it’s okay, like I said. It’s all right. When I got out, I was going to do a video to explain everything. But, wow, they’re doing autopsy. I was very happy and waiting for autopsy. But anyways, what can I say? I can only say my side of the story. But if you ask me, I would tell the police to arrest everybody. Everybody, arrest everybody that was in there. I’ll ask everybody again, don’t worry, I’ll ask everybody again, everybody. For an officer we can trust and charge, I’ll ask everybody again. We’re not blind, you can see, but that’s it. Lastly, we’ve got in touch with Mubad lawyer and we are ready to give his share to whoever the court of family picked to be in charge of his estate. Since Mubad passed away, we have not touched Any money from my dad is there safe for wherever the family picks or wherever the court picks. You know what it is? It’s a boy named Amali. Still remain the loyal Malian president in our race.”
