Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has continued to voice his concerns in the ongoing quest for justice for the late singer Mohbad.
The outspoken influencer recently revisited the controversy surrounding a leaked WhatsApp group chat, where he accused certain members of misleading the public. In a new video, he presented snippets from the group and claimed that some individuals were actively spreading false narratives, prompting a response from music producer Samklef.
According to Verydarkman, the group allegedly led by actress Iyabo Ojo was instrumental in shifting the public’s perception about the case. He accused them of sponsoring posts to circulate misinformation. To back his claims, he shared screenshots that appeared to show Iyabo Ojo confirming that Mohbad’s partner, Wunmi, had undergone a second DNA test.
The activist also highlighted another post from Iyabo Ojo, in which she allegedly described Mohbad’s father as an “illegitimate father” fighting a lost cause.
In his latest outburst, Verydarkman directly called out social media influencers Samuel Mbah and Pooja Media. He referenced their 2023 tweets asserting that the DNA results confirmed Mohbad as the biological father of Wunmi’s child, Liam. He challenged them to provide proof that their statements were not influenced by payments, giving them a 24-hour deadline to present evidence of the test results.
Shedding more light on his suspicions, Verydarkman recalled that shortly after Mohbad’s death, Wunmi had posted a message lamenting that “they had taken her man from her.” Later, she accused a nurse of being responsible for the singer’s passing.
The activist admitted that her posts raised his suspicions, leading him to consider the possibility that Liam might not be Mohbad’s son and that the truth was being concealed.
