Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has released new videos just days after he exposed an all-celebrity WhatsApp group that was reportedly created following the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
In his latest video posted on Instagram, the critic turned his attention to Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, and the singer’s brother, Adura, highlighting differences in their separate accounts of the artist’s final moments.
VeryDarkMan shared a clip from Wunmi’s February 2025 interview with TVC, where she recounted assisting her late husband to the restroom. She explained that he vomited and urinated, and shortly after they returned, he collapsed, screaming that his heart was burning and calling for water.
“We poured water on him, and he requested the air conditioner because he was feeling very hot inside,” she said.
However, in another clip shared by VeryDarkMan, Adura recalled a different version of events. He said he heard a loud noise and rushed upstairs to find Mohbad lying on the floor, unable to speak but gesturing for water and air conditioning.
Commenting on the conflicting narratives, VeryDarkMan questioned,
“Did he speak, or did he not speak? The two people present during his last moments gave contradictory accounts.”
The video posted by VeryDarkMan also featured the clips of both Wunmi and Adura describing Mohbad’s final hours.
