Popular social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has released the video for the latest installment of his diss track aimed at street-hop singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Olalomi Badmus.
VDM and Portable have been locked in a back-and-forth feud, each releasing diss tracks in a heated musical exchange. The activist recently unveiled the second part of his response, accompanied by a video recap of his recent activities.
In the video, VDM delivers scathing lines in multiple languages, accusing Portable of theft. He also compiled old clips of Portable’s past controversies including the singer’s police run-ins and cleverly incorporated them into the visuals for the track.
Alongside the release, VeryDarkMan posted a caption suggesting he might finally stop responding to Portable, implying that the artist had been “crying” over the verbal jabs.
The video also served as a shout-out to his close circle. He extended heartfelt appreciation to several supporters, including music executive Don Jazzy, Dkokopee, DJ Big N, his brother, and influencer Jojo of Lele referring to all of them as his “gees.” He also included members of his neighborhood crew, highlighting their support.
After hearing her name mentioned in the track, Jojo of Lele reacted warmly in the comments section, declaring her love for VDM. The duo appear to share a close bond, especially as Jojo recently met VDM’s brother, who teasingly referred to her as his “in-law.” She was visibly flustered and amused by the nickname.
