Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, announced on Friday, August 8, that gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has reconciled with her former record label boss and manager, Eezee Tee.
The reconciliation comes months after a public dispute in which Chinwo accused Eezee Tee of diverting $345,000 in music royalties. VeryDarkMan, who openly supported Eezee Tee during the saga, repeatedly criticized Chinwo and even released a song titled Body of Christ as a response to her claims.
In his recent update, the online critic revealed that the settlement was reached through the intervention of several “spiritual fathers” and bishops, with both parties signing agreement documents to put the matter to rest.
“Finally, in the Mercy Chinwo and Eezee Tee matter, with the help of some spiritual fathers and bishops, they have signed the agreement and settled. My work is done, and I’m proud I stood up for a man I believed was oppressed. I thank God my actions came from the heart because some people thought I was paid. I still have my own court case ongoing,” he said.
GistLover had earlier reported that EeZee Conceptz Limited’s Managing Director, Nancy Nnadi, also known as Coach Nancy, publicly retracted her alleged defamatory remarks against Chinwo in July, describing it as a step toward peace.
