Popular Nigerian music executive Jude Okoye, who is also the elder brother to the famous P-Square duo, has stirred public discourse with his recent comments on Nigeria’s political system.
The Northside Entertainment CEO took to his Instagram story to call for electoral reforms, suggesting that a university degree should be the minimum qualification required to run for any political office in the country.
In his words:
“How hard is it to reform our electoral act, making at least a Uni bachelors degree a benchmark for qualification to run for any office in Nigeria, We can’t have the uneducated leading the educated. Makes zero sense.”
Jude’s statement has sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many Nigerians weighing in on the idea of setting educational benchmarks for political aspirants.
In a separate development, GistLover notes that Jude Okoye is still facing backlash from his former signee, rapper Cynthia Morgan. She recently resurfaced with fresh allegations, accusing him of diverting her earnings and misrepresenting key aspects of their former working relationship.
