Nigerian talent manager Ubi Franklin has defended Chioma after an X user questioned what she gives Davido, noting the singer often gifts her.

An X user pointed out Davido’s frequent lavish gifts to his wife and wondered aloud what Chioma has ever given him in return.

“Davido has been buying wedding gifts for Chioma so far, not once, not twice. What exactly has Chioma bought for Davido???”.

Ubi said Chioma also spends on Davido but keeps it private, recalling how she gave him 30 gifts on his 30th birthday.
In response Ubi questioned why their relationship should be treated like a competition.

“Chioma spends on David, too, y’all want everything on social media, so it looks like it is a competition.
I remember David’s Birthday 2 years ago, I think when he turned 30, Chioma bought David 30 gifts for his 30th Birthday. That it is not shown doesn’t mean it is not done”.
