Nollywood actress-turned-politician, Tonto Dikeh, has sparked mixed reactions online after revealing she will host a comedy show featuring some of Nigeria’s top entertainers.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Dikeh announced that she will be the host of a special Mother’s Day comedy event taking place on Sunday, March 15, at the Transcorp Hilton.
“This Sunday, March 15th, is #MothersDay, and I will be the HOST of a very decent comedy show at Transcorp Hilton,” she wrote.
According to the event flyer, the lineup includes popular comedians AY, Gordons, and Kenny Blaq, alongside socialite Cubana Chiefprest and singer Timi Dakolo.
The announcement has stirred discussion among fans, particularly in light of Dikeh’s recent spiritual transformation.
The actress recently shared that she has dropped the “King” title from her name and now prefers to be called Evangelist Tonto Dikeh, explaining that the change is in obedience to the Holy Spirit and in alignment with God’s plan for her life.
She has also been seen engaging in public prayers at hospitals, further highlighting her renewed spiritual focus.
