- Rapper and activist Falz has responded to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s statement on the recent killings in Benue State.

Popular rapper and social activist Falz has expressed strong disapproval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent statement on the brutal killings in Benue State, describing it as just another “routine” and ineffective response.
Following renewed violence in the region, President Tinubu issued a public statement condemning the attacks and directing security agencies to act swiftly. His message read in part:
“Enough is enough! I have directed the security agencies to act decisively… Our people must live in peace.”
Reacting on his social media page, Falz criticized the president’s remarks, insisting that they reflect a pattern of unfulfilled promises and leadership failure. According to him, Tinubu’s consistent inability to ensure the safety of Nigerian lives shows he is unfit for the responsibilities of his office.
“You have consistently shown that you are incapable of performing the primary duty of securing lives and property of your citizens. This routine statement does not cut it,” he wrote.
Falz has long been a vocal critic of poor governance and rising insecurity in the country. His latest reaction mirrors the frustration of many Nigerians who feel abandoned in the face of recurring violence and ineffective leadership.
The rapper’s statement has since sparked widespread engagement online, with many citizens backing his views and others debating the best way forward amid the nation’s security challenges.
