Veteran Nollywood actress Remi Oshodi has spoken in defence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him and his family as good people.
The actress made the remark while reacting to ongoing criticism of the president, particularly over the rising cost of petrol in Nigeria.
According to her, the challenges currently facing Tinubu are partly due to a lack of unity among the Yoruba people.
She said many Yorubas tend to criticise one another rather than offer support, which she believes has contributed to the situation.
Oshodi also argued that the president should not be blamed for the increase in petrol prices.
“Tinubu, his wife, and his children are extremely good people. He is having problems because Yorubas don’t love themselves. They condemn one another. Asiwaju Tinubu is not responsible for the rise in petrol prices.”
