- Speaking at the 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu used the opportunity to mock the ADC while addressing ongoing political realignments.

President Bola Tinubu has taken a jab at the African Democratic Congress (ADC), referring to it as a “coalition of confusion.”
Speaking at the 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), where Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda was announced as the new national chairman, Tinubu used the opportunity to mock the ADC while addressing ongoing political realignments.
He urged the APC to postpone its congresses until December to allow more opposition members to join the party, saying, “It’s not a bad idea to abandon a sinking ship and be absent from a coalition of confusion.”
Tinubu’s comments come amid reports that the ADC is attracting support from key opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
