Burna Boy, the “Last Last” hitmaker, was seen freestyling in a 2012 video alongside rapper Vector, DJ Spinall, and others.


Burna Boy’s 2012 old videos elicited reactions from the singer’s fan base, who queried how Burna Boy, who has been in the game since 2012, could be referred to as a new cat.

In June 2023, Davido made news by calling Burna Boy a new cat, adding that the singer is on the same level as Rema, Asake, and Mayorkun and others.

Since then, Davido and Burna Boy haven’t been on good terms, with each often casting subtle shade at themselves.
