Actress and filmmaker Judy Austin has expressed her support for social media influencer and self-styled relationship coach, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, following her announcement of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
Blessing CEO recently shared an emotional video revealing her battle with stage 4 cancer, which drew widespread attention online. In the clip, she broke down in tears, showing the effects of the illness, including hair loss.
In several posts, the influencer explained that she planned to auction her wigs and properties to raise funds, appealing to the public for financial assistance.
In response, Judy Austin left a touching comment on Blessing CEO’s Instagram, writing: “You’re stronger than anything that may come your way, my love. This too shall pass.”
Judy Austin’s gesture of support, however, sparked a range of reactions across social media platforms.
Blessing CEO has previously faced backlash from internet users over a controversial video she shared that targeted Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May. While maintaining good relations with Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin, Blessing appeared to take subtle digs at May.
In the video, Blessing mocked a clip from a retreat that May attended, mimicking the women with an exaggerated crying expression. She also questioned why May had not mentioned Yul’s name sooner and criticized her for continuing to use his surname, suggesting it was time for her to reclaim her father’s name and step out of Yul’s shadow.
