Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Ka3na Jones, has shared an emotional post about the struggles of raising her child alone after the death of her husband, Mr. Jones.

Taking to her Instagram page, the former Big Brother Naija housemate opened up about life as a single parent, admitting she has never been able to get used to it. She wrote:

“I don’t believe I can ever get used to being a single parent. This sh!t is hard. They say it gets easier with time… LIEEEES! The anxiety, the grief, the responsibility, the sacrifices… they only grow.”

Ka3na reflected on the heartbreaking reality of losing her husband so soon after marriage, noting that nothing could have prepared her for the experience. She continued:

“Nobody ever tells you, ‘Hey Katie, this amazing man you’re about to marry only has five more years to live, make every second count.’ Or, ‘Don’t rush into having kids… he’s going to die and leave you a widow and a single mother in your prime.’”

Despite the pain, Ka3na said she would not change anything about her journey because she cannot imagine life without her daughter. She revealed:

“Would I have done anything differently if I knew? Honestly, no. Because I can’t imagine my world right now without my baby girl. I Miss Mr. Jones every passing day.”

She also admitted that solo parenting can sometimes leave her feeling frustrated, tired, and overwhelmed.

“But am I angry sometimes? Tired? Worn out? Yes.

Do I wish someone would just look at me and say, ‘Katie, take a break… I got this’? Absolutely!!! I. Am. Tired.”

Ka3na, who lost her British husband in May 2023, has been candid about her grief journey, often sharing on social media how much she misses him while navigating the challenges of single motherhood.
