Popular celebrity blogger Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle, widely known as Tunde Ednut, has shared his reaction following the death of former Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday, July 13.
Taking to his Instagram page, Tunde Ednut expressed skepticism about the concept of karma, especially as it relates to politicians. He argued that Nigerian leaders often escape the consequences of their actions, despite the hardships many citizens endure during their tenures.
According to him, despite the criticism Buhari faced during his presidency including accusations of economic mismanagement and human rights concerns he still enjoyed a privileged life, received world-class healthcare abroad, and died peacefully in a private hospital at the age of 82.
Responding to the former president’s passing, Tunde Ednut shared on Instagram that karma seemingly doesn’t apply to politicians. He pointed out that they enjoy comfortable lives, access top-tier medical care overseas, accumulate wealth, and yet leave ordinary citizens to suffer.
Tunde Ednut urged Nigerians to focus on living right and treating others with kindness, as that’s the true measure of a meaningful life.
He wrote:
“There is certainly no karma for politicians. Karma does not exist.
Live a good life, good abroad health care, make all the money in the world while your citizens dey suffer.
Finally, fly abroad and kpai peacefully for private hospital abroad. E never finish?
Enjoyed the whole life, lived long till 82 and escaped all consequences.
There is no karma. It doesn’t exist.
KARMA DOES NOT EXIST!!!
Live well while you are on earth and just try to nice as you can to everybody.”
