“The Law Is Not Emotional”- Barrister Warns Sandra Areh Over Relationship Rumors

  • Nigerian lawyer Barrister Atanda Olatunji has stirred online debate after advising Sandra Areh to obtain a legal agreement from Apostle Joshua Selman amid ongoing relationship rumors.
  • He argued that her long-standing public association with the cleric could leave her at a disadvantage if it does not result in marriage, warning that the law offers no protection without formal commitment.

Nigerian lawyer Barrister Atanda Olatunji has gone viral after warning Sandra Areh to secure a legal commitment from Apostle Joshua Selman amid persistent relationship rumors.

Following viral photos from Sandra’s recent birthday, Atanda argued that her decade-long closeness to the cleric puts her at a significant disadvantage if the bond does not lead to marriage.

Atanda advised Sandra to request a signed legal document to protect her future, insisting that “the law is not emotional.”

He cautioned that her public association with the Apostle might have discouraged other potential suitors, leaving her with “a lot to lose if Apostle does not marry her at the end of the day.”

The barrister even offered his services for free, stating: “LADY SANDRA AREH MUST GET APOSTLE TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT OF PROMISE TO MARRY OR SHE IS BOUND TO LOOSE HER LEGAL STAND… I Atanda, I am willing to help her draft the agreement for FREE.”

Atanda warned that without this move, she should not complain if the cleric eventually chooses someone else. “She should not come out tomorrow to say ehn, Apostle left me to marry another lady after so many years of commitment,” he wrote. He also advised Apostle Selman to be more cautious of public optics, noting that “ignorance of the law is no excuse.”
