Davido, the Afrobeat sensation, reacted after singer Rema revealed he will be taking a break from performing in order to recover.
Following his sold-out O2 show, Rema revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post that he will not be performing anywhere this December.
Rema stated that he has neglected his health after years of touring and will be taking a break until 2024.
In response, Davido stated that being an artist is a physically and mentally demanding job.
He remarked that his younger colleague had exceeded all expectations with his exhilarating performance and music.
Rema was encouraged by Davido to rest and return stronger.
Davido wrote: “The Job ain’t easy … You’ve done Africa and the world proud .beyond expectations… get some rest King @heisrema come back stronger.”
