Olatosho Oshoffa has declined Portable and Pasuma’s invitation to attend one of the church branch’s worship nights.

Olatosho Oshoffa, the pastoral head of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, announced the cancellation of the invitation on his Facebook page.

The Celestial Church of Christ, Land of Goshen in Lagos issued a flier for their worship night on Wednesday, including Portable, Pasuma, and May Shua.

However, the statement elicited a flood of responses from Nigerians on social media. Some saw it as gloomy, while others questioned whether God’s temple was becoming a place of fun.

In response to the controversies, Oshoffa said on his Facebook page, , “Dear Celestians, I have just spoken to the Shepherd in Charge of the above Parish at length. He has promised to make amendments to the posters.

“He has promised that the said contested artists would NOT come for the nights. There is no doubt the said poster is very CONDEMNABLE. God bless CCC. Amen.”
