- Tonto Dikeh has denied hugging her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, at their son’s birthday party.
- She clarified that the man seen in the viral video was Churchill’s uncle and criticized the misleading online speculation.

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has reacted to a viral video that sparked speculation about her relationship with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
The former couple recently hosted a football-themed birthday party for their son in Abuja, an event attended by several Nigerian celebrities.
A video from the party showed a man resembling Churchill hugging Tonto Dikeh, prompting some social media users to claim she had embraced her ex-husband. Critics also suggested that Churchill’s wife, actress Rosy Meurer, might not be pleased with the footage.
Responding in the comment section of an Instagram blog, Tonto Dikeh clarified that the man in the video was actually Churchill’s uncle, not her ex-husband. She described the online claims as false and disrespectful.
She wrote, “This is completely inappropriate and inaccurate. He is Churchill’s uncle and by extension, my uncle as well. My son was born in his home, under his care and protection. His wife, Aunty Vivian, was the one who took me to the hospital when I went into labor.
“They opened their home to me for six months. In a country as demanding as America, they made sure my baby and I were cared for feeding us, clothing us, and giving us a safe roof over our heads. They did this out of love, with no hesitation.
“This narrative is deeply disrespectful to him, to me, and to our families. I would appreciate more thoughtfulness and sensitivity moving forward please.”
