- Nigerian comedian Odahohwo Joseph Efe, known as Carter Efe, recently released a viral clip showcasing his infamous sex jokes on Wizkid.
- Carter Efe, known for tagging Wizkid as his “Idolo,” now refers to Wizkid as an idiot, highlighting his inherent pride in him.

Popular Nigerian skit maker and singer Odahohwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, has sparked online controversy after a scathing rant against music star Wizkid.
In a trending video clip, Carter Efe once a self-proclaimed superfan of Wizkid whom he called “Idolo” launched a blistering attack on the Grammy-winning singer, labeling him an “idiot” and accusing him of excessive pride.
The outburst comes just days after Carter Efe publicly shifted his allegiance to Davido during a live session with singer Khaid. He expressed frustration over Wizkid’s long-standing silence, despite his support and even releasing a hit tribute song titled “Machala” in Wizkid’s honour.
“He never acknowledged me,” Carter lamented. “I don’t need him anymore.”
The tension escalated further when a fan mentioned during another live session that Wizkid had supposedly posted Carter Efe’s picture on X (formerly Twitter) and captioned it “My G.” Carter Efe immediately dismissed the claim as impossible.
He said, “If machala called me my G, it means something happened or whether Lion get belle (Pregnant), e no fit happen, that boy too get pride, idiot.”
Carter’s sudden shift from reverence to rage has left fans divided, with many wondering what triggered the dramatic fallout between the once-loyal admirer and his former musical hero.
