Gambian-born actress and Nollywood star, Princess Shyngle, has sparked online debate after revealing that a group of African Americans reportedly plan to stage a protest targeting African-owned businesses in the United States.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress claimed that the protest is scheduled to take place on August 1, 2025, and expressed confusion over the motive behind such a move as well as the timing.
According to Shyngle, the goal of the protest is to boycott all African businesses in the U.S., a development she appears to criticize. In a sarcastic tone, she questioned why the protesters were waiting until August 1.
“So, African Americans are starring a protest August 1st to boycott all African businesses in America. Why wait till August 1st though you’ll can start now”. she wrote.
