Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has set social media buzzing after a video of her recent performance went viral.

The footage shows a memorable moment at the Uyo Township Stadium when security personnel assigned to Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, tried to prevent Teni from approaching the VIP section to greet prominent guests.

The video begins with Teni performing her hit track “Case,” captivating the audience with her dynamic stage presence. In a bid to connect more personally with attendees, she made her way toward the VIP area to meet some of the notable figures in attendance.

Seated in the VIP section were the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, First Lady Remi Tinubu, Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Bassey Eno, and several other distinguished guests.

The moment that caught widespread attention online came when the First Lady’s security team attempted to stop Teni’s advance. Undeterred, the singer continued and reached Remi Tinubu, respectfully kneeling to greet her, which the First Lady warmly acknowledged.

The interaction didn’t stop there Teni also invited Senate President Godswill Akpabio to join in the fun by playfully holding the microphone for him, prompting cheers from the audience and creating a lively, memorable atmosphere.
