Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has blasted actor Yomi Fabiyi over his controversial new movie, Oko Iyabo which is based on Baba Ijesha’s rape case, while using the real names of the persons involved in the rape saga. Yomi Fabiyi worse still made the movie look like the minor involved in the rape case was having an affair with Baba Ijesha.
His movie has caused a lot of stir on social media Actress Mercy Aigbe has also weighed on the issue.
According to her, she called Yomi Fabiyi on phone and told him he is a disgrace. She went ahead to label the scene which she watched as “insensitive, utterly distasteful and disgusting”.
She wrote;
“How on earth would you make mockery of someone’s agonizing pain! How????? Only a wicked soul would do that!!!!! Just that particular scene I saw of your movie is insensitive, utterly distasteful and disgusting! @realyomifabiyi”
