Threads was developed by Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of the popular social media sites Facebook and Instagram, to compete with Twitter. The new app Threads resembles Elon Musk's well-known microblogging service, Twitter. Threads is referred to in Meta as a "text-based conversation app" and is currently offered on the Play Store and Apple App Store. With 1.4 million followers each as of the time this content was filled, Mark Zuckerberg and the actor Will Smith are the two users with the most followers. Today, July 6th, 2023, President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu joined the new app, Threads.
