The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s three refineries in Kaduna, Port Harcourt and Warri have resumed production of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), otherwise known as diesel and kerosene respectively.
Activities at fuel depots across the country have been disrupted by a three-day warning strike by the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, which started today.
Nigerians have been asked to prepare for an impending fuel scarcity by the Independent petroleum marketers association of Nigeria (IPMAN).
Except the federal government intervenes, another round of petrol scarcity is looming in the country.
The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) says its members would begin a three-day nationwide warning strike by January 9 2017, in protest of the anti-labour practices of international oil companies.
