Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has warned business owners and vendors against using her name or images to advertise their products without her approval.

In a statement on her official Instagram page, the actress emphasized that purchasing a product or service does not obligate her to promote it or tag the brand on her social media accounts.

She clarified that businesses should not assume that any payment entitles them to free publicity. Additionally, she stated that her photos or videos cannot be used for marketing purposes without her explicit permission.

Amusa also highlighted that she does not run any charity initiatives outside of her own Dayo Amusa Foundation.

The actress concluded by warning that anyone who disregards her instructions and uses her content for promotional purposes without consent will face appropriate action.

She wrote: “HENCEFORTH!!! If I am paying or I pay for your product or service, don’t expect me to mention or tag you in my post.

“Also do not use my picture/video on your page for any form of promotional purposes without my consent or permission. If you do, you go hear am 📌 Read that again!!! To whom it may concern 📌 I don’t run a charity except @dayoamusafoundation.

“DO NOT USE MY PICTURE / VIDEO for any form of sales marketing or promotional purposes without my permission, consent or authorization. You go hear am📌 Ese o! Thank you!”
