Nollywood actor Taye Arimoro reacts after he was suspended by the three major industry guilds AGN, DGN, and AMP following a major fight on a movie set with his colleague, Peggy Ovire.
The guilds released a joint statement saying their investigation found Arimoro was the main aggressor. He was accused of hitting the production manager and the driver, and then spreading a misleading video online.
The suspension is indefinite. To be reinstated, Arimoro must apologize publicly to Peggy Ovire and the crew members. He must also record a new video explaining what really happened and return to finish his scenes under supervision.
In response, Taye Arimoro angrily challenged the guilds on his Instagram story, questioning their methods.
He posted:
“Can someone please tell these ones to stop playing..? What was the basis of your investigation please..?”
He then hinted he might share more details with fans:
“Omo me, I think I’m in the mood for an IG live.”
