Nollywood star Akah Nnani accuses iFitness, a prominent gym and wellness center, of extorting money from its clients.
The actor posted a video on his Instagram page accusing iFitness of extorting money from customers solely because they have access to their card.
He stated that, despite not having been a member of the gym for up to a year, he has noticed a number of negative characteristics about them and believes that someone should speak out about them.
He sneered at the gym’s new membership costs, claiming that the bottom line comes before the well-being of its customers.
And because they had access to his card, they deducted a cost of N17,500 for membership dues he doesn’t want and asked them to refund
Captioning the video, he wrote: “@ifitnessng please do better. Stop extorting money from people. Access to card doesn’t mean you have the right to withdraw any fees or monies without permission or consent.”
