Daniel Regha, a Twitter celebrity, has issued a warning to Christians, advising them not to use the names of pastors or persons when praying to God.
Daniel Regha encouraged Christians to avoid only calling on the God linked with a specific minister/pastor or people whom they believe to be ardent believers.
Instead, he highlighted the significance of using Biblical allusions to approach the divine.
Daniel Regha addressed his concerns on Twitter, arguing that it is inappropriate for Christians to invoke the name of a pastor, whether deceased or living, while seeking spiritual assistance.
He advised followers to shift their emphasis to Biblical figures like Isaac, Abraham, and Deborah, arguing that these allusions are more closely aligned with Christian beliefs.
“As a Christian, you should not be calling on the God of any pastor, whether living or dead. Forget the miracles seen,” Daniel Regha said.
He stressed the uncertainties surrounding religious leaders’ sources of authority.
According to Daniel Regha, although these people perform great feats and marvels, their origins are unknown.
“No one knows for a fact who or what they serve and where they get their powers from. Listen to their preaching if enlightening, but only reference Biblical saints when calling on God, e.g., the God of Isaac, Abraham, Deborah, just to name a few,” he added.
