Singer Spyro has sent his congratulations to Davido and Chioma on their white wedding, which took place over the weekend in the United States.
He also expressed appreciation for Davido’s support over the years. Spyro wrote, “I don’t have a lot of friends in the industry but you, @davido, have stuck with me way before fame so e pain me say na video I just de watch all through cos you really deserve the best brother.”
Recalling a memory from the early days of Davido and Chioma’s relationship, Spyro shared how he first met Chioma on the night of his show at Hardrock.
He said, “I came to beg you at home to come, and that was the first day I met her, with her pictures already plastered on your walls. Now, several years down the line, you guys are married,” before praying for their union to be preserved.

He stated, “I am the only person I know on planet earth who is saying this out loud, but I know I’m not the only person who has experienced it. Following Jesus Christ, Christianity, and the Bible for 60 years destroyed my life. I do not recommend it. Run.”
The man added that despite spending tens of thousands of hours praying and crying out for help, he never received any response. “I can’t even begin to count the tens of thousands of hours of suffering and crying out for help. Did Jesus not hear that? It was a big waste of time. Following Jesus Christ completely ruined my life. I don’t recommend it,” he said.
