Sophia Momodu, a Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, has clapped back at a female fan who advised her to ignore online trolls.

The fan sent Sophia a Snapchat message saying:

“Soso, don’t reply to these people, they aren’t worth it at all. Love from London.”

Responding, Sophia said there’s an obsession with telling Black women — and women in general to keep quiet, adding that such attitudes are often perpetuated by other women.

“Uju, have you noticed that there’s an obsession with telling black women or just women in general to stay quiet? And it’s mostly women like you who are used to carrying out these atrocities against fellow women. Love from Earth.”

Recall that Sophia had clashed with trolls while a popular Nigerian singer prepared for his U.S. wedding.

It started after she posted a Snapchat video of an American man discussing dating a free-spirited woman, captioned “Surviving a free spirit.”

One Snapchat user advised her to marry and emulate Wizkid’s baby mamas, who maintain a low profile online.

“Go and marry. Please learn from Wizkid’s babymamas. You hardly see them post because they respect themselves.”

Sophia fired back, questioning why someone who disliked her monitored her activities.

“Sarah, I hope you, your family and everyone you love go blind, cos how are you watching me when you don’t like me? Please, leave women alone. Imagine thinking you can make me feel bad cos my voice/platform is heavy. I am the prize!”

Another supporter advised her to be cautious with her responses to avoid fuelling bullies, but Sophia dismissed the warning.

“Sweetie, I dgaf what a bunch of brokies who are dedicated to misunderstanding me have to say. Those who matter don’t mind. Also, y’all need to understand I’m a bigger bully. God is just working on me. And another thing, don’t ever come on my platform to tell me what I can or can’t talk about. Also, it’s Sophia to you.”
