According to a report by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Chris Aburime, President Tinubu warmly received Governor Soludo, describing him as a longtime friend of over 22 years.

The President reportedly used the occasion to congratulate Governor Soludo again on his landslide victory in the recently concluded Anambra gubernatorial election, where he was declared the winner with 73% of the votes cast by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

While the reception between the two leaders was public, the specific details of their discussion were not disclosed. Mr. Aburime informed Daily Post that following the reception, the President and the Governor proceeded into a closed-door meeting.
